The history of BRATS dates back to 2006 when a group of MOHAA players began playing with the Hellzfire clan. In 2007, a rift in the Hellzfire administration resulted in nearly half the members leaving to form The Resurrection Clan. On August 15, 2008, our founding members (Bigmoose, Ripley, Angel Whisper, Tapout, and ScorpionQueen) left to create “B.R.A.T.S.”. Bigmoose left the online gaming scene in 2011 to spend more time with his family. Ripley and Tapout left in 2012 in pursuit of newer games. Angel Whisper returned to TRC only a few weeks after forming BRATS, but has since returned. ScorpionQueen is the last remaining founder with an active admin role. In 2012, UberBadMeds and Addit joined the ranks of Clan Admin to assist ScorpionQueen in daily operations. Over the years, we have branched out in to other multiplayer games; but our roots remain in the MOHAA community as one of the last surviving groups, with members and guests playing 7 nights a week.
We play with rapid fire rifles and powerful snipers. Rifles are typically one shot kill, and snipers have the ability to kill up to two players with one shot. Players will move faster with a weapon drawn rather than holstered, and grenades can be kicked away by pressing the use key should one land near the feet of your player. Allied and Axis weapons are set up as similarly as possible, but to combat minor differences we allow players to have either team’s weapons based on the configuration below. Each option provides a player with his team’s pistol and his team’s grenades. The first weapon listed is the weapon a player will pull out once he spawns:
Rifle: Your Rifle, Your Sniper
Sniper: Your Sniper, Your Rifle
Sub Machine Gun: Their Rifle, Your Sniper
